Meet Dr. Heather Hradek

Dr. Heather Hradek, often called “Dr. Heather” by her patients, has been part of the Valparaiso community for many years. Her experience spans all aspects of care, from routine family checkups to cosmetic treatments and full restorative work. What she enjoys most isn’t just the dental work itself but the connections she builds along the way. For her, dentistry is as much about understanding people as it is about clinical skill. Each appointment is a chance to listen, build trust, and help someone feel more at ease in their own smile.

She especially enjoys working on treatments that improve both how teeth function and how people feel about their smile. Full mouth rehabilitation, Invisalign, and cosmetic upgrades are some of the cases she finds most rewarding. They allow her to blend technical skill with creativity while helping patients feel more like themselves again.

Being a mom gives Dr. Heather a real understanding of how stressful dental visits can be for both kids and parents. She welcomes children as young as one and works closely with pediatricians in the Valparaiso area to support each family’s dental needs with care and patience.

She’s also proud to give back to her community through her partnership with Girls on the Run of Northwest Indiana, donating a portion of every new patient visit to help empower young girls through fitness, connection, and confidence.

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Heather loves spending time with her family, staying active outdoors, and enjoying the beauty of Northwest Indiana. Her warmth and authenticity shine through in everything she does — and it’s what makes Dunes Dental Studio feel like more than just a dental office.
